Our story
A UK based group run by adopters, who have run events for adoptive families to attend for over 13 years.
August 2023, we decided to form Creating Adoption Networks Community Interest Company.
We understand the needs of adoptive families and the importance of peer to peer networks.
We both feel that it is important to have fun and make memories.
Recent feedback
What an absolutely fantastic event again. Seeing the absolute joy on my daughter’s face was priceless. It’s always great to be with other adoptive families too and get that support from our peers.
As a family through adoption these events help us feel included and it is lovely to meet new people who are in similar positions and have understanding. Thank you to Lydia and Clare for organising yet again a wonderful treat for us as a family
National Lottery Community Fund 2026
We have been very lucky to receive an award of £18,950 from the National Lottery Community Fund. The money will go towards funding 2 family camping trips for around 180 people, 2 follow up day trips to continue the network and relationship building and development of our youth volunteers. It will also cover some of our ongoing boring costs such as website, storage of equipment, postage & printing.
